bought 2 pots of roses and they arrived with lots of buds and packed nicely

Having been a professional gardener all my life, I can honestly say that David Austin roses are the best you can buy.They are not cheap but you certainly get what you pay for.Having been a customer for several years now,the quality is excellent.Also, the mail ordering is simple, and they can even tell you the delivery date and approximate time of delivery.And of course, it goes without saying, the roses are heavenly.This company deserves to be the best.

I have been known as 'the rose killer' in our household, but since buying my roses from David Austin - I am transformed into a rose officionado! I only buy potted roses and I've bought a few now. They arrive beautifully packaged and in fantastic condition. As the season goes on - they arrive with buds and open blooms. I am over the moon with the choice and quality from David Austin

It is a shame that David Austin Roses do not answer their emails. I have a query regarding a particular rose and was asked to send images, which I did on two occasions, both with no reply.

I can’t understand why a company with a good product doesn’t attend to its problems, it really does tarnish their image. I want to buy from them again, but have doubts after this episode

I purchased three potted roses (Whiter Shade of Pale) last year and they arrived in tip-top condition with terrific instructions for a novice rose-grower. One year later and they are putting on a splendid show. Highly recommend David Austin. Great selection of roses and terrific planting and maintenance guides on the website too.

I love my Rose. I bought a bare root and I was very doubtful and skeptic. I’m a novice as a gardener. After one year my rose is grown so much and it’s full of roses and buds.
Impeccable quality roses and great care guides and instructions that come with.

Ordered four roses, I was stunned by the quality and size of what arrived, expertly packaged too. All are a good size, full of vigor and buds! So thank you, I am overwhelmed by the quality.

My order came beautifully contained with such class a nice experience it is growing so well the rose climber.I such like a app for the company how do I go about it.

****Edit: I showed my neighbour who is pretty hot on roses and she thinks it is diseased which is from DA nursery as it hasn’t been in my garden and arrived like it. The new growth is all affected. Binned! UK customer.****

DO NOT buy online from D. Austin as the guarantee means nothing. They are much poorer quality than those supplied to the garden centres. Perhaps they sell the ones online that they couldn’t sell in a shop? Excellent marketing but lacking in everything else. I guess since the sons took over it’s more about insta promoters and posh catalogs than really quality and customer service.

After buying lots of DA roses over the years for myself and as presents for others. I’m annoyed because my parents got me Gertrude online as a gift and 35 quid isn’t cheap for them. Sent me a crispy and crinkly Gertrude with yellow and brown leaves that are oddly shaped and two of the three main stems growing against each other. I sent them pictures and they said if I plant it it will be fine in a few weeks. I won’t be waisting my time because bits keep falling off it and it hasn’t picked up with TLC.

Shame DA used to be a lovely quality English Company, took a few years for it to go right down hill. Condescending customer service, company living off D. Austin’s legacy.

Simply perfect....

I ordered a potted Rosa Tottering by Gently direct from David Austin last year. It arrived promptly and was well packaged. It was healthy with vigorous growth and flowered profusely last year, up to November. The flowers are small but many and it is a lovely lemon yellow colour. Although I have bought potted David Austin roses from garden centres in the past, this was the first time I had ordered direct from the company. I bought two bare root roses earlier this year, Lark Ascending and Boscobel and I am looking forward to seeing them in bloom in my garden.

Products good. But impossible to get off their mailing list.
So expect junk mail from them for years to come.
